Installation Guidance

The SUMO bushing is intentionally longer than the factory needle bearing to provide better axle support. Some differential carriers contain an internal bore shoulder or ridge.

Target installed height: 0.030"–0.065" above the carrier bore
Do not force the bushing past an internal stop — doing so can deform the part and interfere with axle fitment
Install using steady, controlled force with included tools
Verify seating height before final assembly

This method ensures the bushing is installed correctly without risking damage to the bushing or the differential housing.

Not compatible with bolt-in locker assemblies or integrated axle support lockers
Not intended for manual hub carrier applications
